PAY RATE: £23 -£29 per hour

JOB SUMMARY
The Learning and Workforce Development Lead responsibilities will be reporting to the deputy principal Social Worker 
  
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• To assist the Health and Adults Social Care Directorate with workforce strategy priorities and build a strong stable skilled workforce who can work with residents to achieve best outcomes.
• To analyse, commission and design learning interventions that are planned and costed according to service need and delivered timely.
• To lead on statutory requirements, service priority’s and local and national policy including Social Care and Occupational Therapy apprenticeships.

  
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Experience leading Social Work and Occupational Therapy apprenticeships, support apprentices with the programme , worked  with university providers, ADASS, Skills for Care, SCIE and act as the SPOC for London council meetings and support the development of new apprenticeship standards.
• Experience working in a local authority
