• PAY RATE: £41,000 Per Annum (£44,000 for London based Candidates)

JOB SUMMARY

The post-holder will own and be accountable for Global Finance Processes related to Travel & Expenses and Purchasing Cards.

You will become the gate-holders to any change to these processes and will work with senior stakeholders to ensure that any change is relevant, has appropriate controls, is signed off, and championed.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:  

• Be able to understand and represent the business needs within their area of expertise and be able to negotiate with the business to deliver the correct solution to ensure finance compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement, working with procurement, the Shared Service Centre and other key stakeholders, through automation of financial processes in line with business objectives and strategy, which may include seeking out relevant technology.
• Produce, own and maintain process documentation including process maps, standard operating procedures and training material, agree RACI, KPIs and SLAs for each process (manual or automated).
• Act as an internal subject matter expert, review and sign off change requests to processes and ensure this is a result of a consultative process with senior stakeholders, where appropriate.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Experience of financial process improvement, process mapping, developing RACI charts and KPIs, controls & risks.
• Analytical skills/experience.
• Experience in Project Management
• Operating in international and multi-cultural organisations.
• Flexibility, independence and initiative to perform successfully in a rapidly changing environment.
