Our client in Gresham, Oregon, is looking for a Production Shift Manager to join their team!
This is an on-site/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary based on experience: $90K-$100K
Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing direct labor (specialists and leads) and indirect labor (supervisors) while advancing and achieving Fab 4 goals and strengthening our client's Culture and Values, and will report directly to the Production Manager.
Back Nights - Wed, Thu, Fri, every other Saturday, generally 6:00 PM-6:30 AM
Essential Functions
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
- Hire and effectively manage DL and IDL employees and mitigate attrition.
- Ensure effective, efficient, and sustainable productivity of DL and IDL resources.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and specialists for continuous improvement in job performance.
- Lead, sponsor, and participate in continuous improvement teams; remove barriers and provide direction.
- Lead teams to achieve factory KPI goals.
- Positively impact employee and team morale; continue to improve upon our corporate values.
Required Qualifications - Senior-level supervisory experience in a high-tech, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of manufacturing operations.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen as well as respond both in writing and verbally.
- Must demonstrate effective leadership, team building, employee engagement, and employee development skills.
- The ability to effectively hire, develop, and train successful employees to meet and/or exceed our goals.
- The ability to define tasks and milestones to achieve objectives.
- The ability to prevent, manage, and resolve conflict.
- Ensure that work and information (both one's own and others') are complete and accurate.
- Consistent follow-up to ensure agreements and commitments are fulfilled.

Preferred Qualifications - BS/BA degree in a business or manufacturing-related field.
Special Requirements - 24/7 coverage via cell phone.
- May need to respond to requests or attend work-related meetings on unscheduled days.
- May need to modify work schedule to support shift or department needs.
