Our client is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their team!
This is a remote/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary based on experience: Up to $140k OTE
Who we're looking for:
- 5-10 years of enterprise sales experience selling technology, SW or SaaS
- A track record of closing $1M+ enterprise deals with Fortune 1000 customers
- Experience in networking, automation, and DevOps is a strong plus
Candidates need to have these companies within their last two AE roles for at least two years in the role then it's a green flag for us.

Key elements to the AE scorecard: - Self-Sourced Pipeline Discipline:Look for proof that they built their past pipeline through aggressive outbound prospecting and account mapping rather than relying on heavy marketing-generated enterprise leads.
- Architectural Curiosity: They do not need to be former network engineers who write Python scripts daily, but they must possess the intellect to quickly grasp Nautobot's extensible data model, integrations (APIs, Ansible, Terraform), and enterprise value proposition.
- Resilience in Ambiguity: Early-stage commercial motion requires sellers who can help build internal playbooks, provide rigorous field feedback to product/GTM teams, and operate without a massive corporate support safety net.
- Multi-Threaded Enterprise Selling: Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving conflicting stakeholder groups (e.g., traditional NetOps wanting stability versus DevOps/Platform Engineering pushing for API-driven automation).
