- Support PWHT, weld qualification, and compliance with ASME IX and related standards.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in manufacturing or precision metal fabrication.
- Hands-on experience with welding processes, weld qualification, and ASME IX requirements.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and engineering documentation systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, mechanical design principles, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience developing fixtures, tooling, and test setups.
- Ability to manage complex projects, solve technical problems, and collaborate across departments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to prepare clear technical documentation.
Preferred Experience - Experience with pressure transducer design or similar precision instrumentation.
- Background in FEA, stress analysis, and mechanical simulation.
- Familiarity with qualification testing (ATP, QTP, DTP) and environmental/vibration testing.
- Experience supporting NPI and production transfer activities.
