Our client, a growing aerospace component manufacturer in Elma, NY, is looking to hire both 1st and 2nd shift Assembly and Test Technicians for their team!

This is an on-site/full-time/direct hire position
Salary based on experience: Up to $25/HR
 
The successful employee in this role will perform setup, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of production assemblies and units. This role requires mechanical aptitude, comfort with tools and testing equipment, and the ability to follow detailed procedures.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Set up test apparatus and perform initial tests on production assemblies.
• Adjust, calibrate, and modify equipment based on diagrams, sketches, and specifications.
• Perform assembly testing, pre‑testing, and certification of valve assemblies.
• Conduct visual inspections of raw materials and finished products.
• Process reworks, assist with troubleshooting, and support multiple product lines.
• Complete production and quality documentation and utilize computer systems for tracking.
• Prepare tested assemblies for customers and support cross‑functional team efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of related manufacturing or testing experience; associate degree in electronics preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
