Our client, a long‑standing aerospace manufacturer known for precision-engineered components, in Elma, NY is seeking a hands-on Test Technician to support production testing, calibration, and quality verification of critical assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy troubleshooting, working with tools, and ensuring products meet rigorous performance standards.
Full time, onsite, direct hire
Pay: Up to $24/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Set up test apparatus and perform initial and functional testing on production assemblies following established procedures and standards.
- Layout, assemble, adjust, and calibrate units according to engineering specifications.
- Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components based on diagrams or sketches.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform corrective adjustments or part replacements.
- Conduct visual inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure quality compliance.
- Test and certify valve assemblies and prepare completed units for shipment.
- Process reworks within required lead times and assist with troubleshooting across product lines.
- Utilize computers to document work, complete production forms, and maintain accurate records.
- Support cross-training initiatives and contribute to team goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of related experience in testing, assembly, electronics, or mechanical work preferred.

- Experience with calibration, inspection, or quality processes highly desirable.
