CPG Food Sales - Account Sales Manager (Regional/National Retail Accounts)

Sell to Retail Buyers at the HQ @ the Regional/National Level
Remote in US only
Reports to: National Director of Sales
Company Overview
Our client is a leader in the fast-paced and highly competitive – Fresh & Frozen Seafood Manufacture. The company sells to National and Regional Restaurants, Retail Chains, Seafood Distributors, Full-Service Food distributors, and Cruise lines.
The CPG Account Manager, who will focus on selling to HQ buyers of retail supermarkets in the US & Canada. Must have previous experience selling to Retail Buyers with a Protein or Frozen CPG product. Must have energy with a hunter personality for sales. Note: Must have exp selling to HQ buyers, not a field sales rep selling to local grocery stores.
Qualifications
- At least a completed Bachelor’s Degree from a University
- 3+ years of sales experience selling to buyers at Retail Chains (food, seafood, protein, or frozen, or Consumer Products)
- Completed Sales & Management Training course a huge plus
- Consistent job history
- A dynamic proven persistent personality is driven to excel.
- Highly refined ability to manage, motivate, communicate, and negotiate.
- Skilled in collaborative decision-making.
- Analytical and creative with above-average computer skills.
- Experience with CRM software
- Accomplished sales rep with a history of exceeding over goals
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Compensation
Base salary up to about $120K- (based on experience) plus 40% of base salary at 100% of goal, with significant over-performance upside and accelerators beyond 125%.– (If you are really a good salesperson, then it could be more)
