Powder Coating Painter / Booth Painter (2nd Shift - Contract-to-Hire).
Location: Warrensville, OH
Shift: Second Shift | 10-hour shifts | Monday-Thursday
Pay: $18-$20 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (3 Months)
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Powder Coating Painter to join a growing production team in Warrensville, OH. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidates.
 
This role involves applying high-quality powder coatings to metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Apply powder coating to metal parts using spray equipment in a booth setting.
• Prepare surfaces for coating (cleaning, masking, sanding as needed).
• Ensure even coating thickness and high-quality finish.
• Operate and maintain powder coating equipment and booth systems.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper PPE and ventilation procedures.
• Inspect finished products for quality and touch up as needed.
• Support general production and shop duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in varying temperature environments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.

• Experience with curing ovens or coating thickness measurement tools.
• Background in metal fabrication or assembly.
