Role: LabVIEW Software Engineer.

Job Description
We're seeking a hands-on LabVIEW Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support software applications used to control radar circuitry and positioning systems.
 
This role will focus on LabVIEW application development, including the development of a graphical user interface used to configure and operate radar systems. The engineer will work across the software and hardware boundary, supporting communication between applications, radar components, positioning equipment, and related system hardware.
 
The successful candidate will bring strong LabVIEW development experience along with proficiency in C/C++, GUI development, networking, and hardware integration. Experience working across Windows and Linux environments is also important.
 
Candidates do not need an active security clearance to begin. An active Secret clearance is preferred; however, U.S. citizens who are willing and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance will be considered.
 
Essential Job Functions

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using LabVIEW.
• Develop and enhance graphical user interfaces used to configure and operate radar systems.
• Build software that controls and communicates with radar circuitry and positioning equipment.
• Develop and maintain software components using C and C++.
• Integrate software applications with hardware devices, control systems, and networked components.
• Support application development and system integration across Windows and Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot issues involving software, hardware interfaces, system communications, and equipment configuration.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, integration, and system-level validation.
• Work closely with systems, hardware, and software engineers to translate operational requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for developed software and system interfaces.
• Support onsite integration, testing, and troubleshooting activities in Chantilly, Virginia.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing applications with LabVIEW.
• Experience with C and/or C++ software development.
• Experience developing graphical user interfaces.
• Experience with software-to-hardware integration.
• Understanding of networking and system communications.
• Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, Virginia.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience developing test, instrumentation, automated test, controls, or embedded software.
• Experience working with radar systems, positioning systems, data-acquisition systems, or other hardware-intensive applications.
• Experience supporting integrated systems that combine software, electronics, networking, and physical hardware.

Security Clearance

• Active Secret clearance preferred; candidates must be U.S. citizens willing and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
