Our client is a well-established International Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker, with operations across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

They provide comprehensive global logistics and transportation solutions, supporting a diverse customer base across international markets.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Transport Allocator to join their Sydney operation, based in Chipping Norton.

Working alongside experienced operators, you will assist in coordinating FCL import and export container movements while supporting the day-to-day transport operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating FCL import and export container movements
• Support truck allocations and liaise with drivers
• Manage container slot bookings across wharfs and container parks
• Apply container numbers to bookings (training provided)
• Assist with container de-hires through Containerchain
• Maintain accurate updates within the transport management system
• Support fleet coordination and operational efficiency
• Complete general administration duties includingDriver run sheet checks

About You

• Early- Mid career professional within logistics, supply chain, or a related field
• Exposure to transport, warehousing, or logistics environments advantageous
• Familiarity with 1-Stop or Containerchain highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a team-focused approach
• Eager to learn and build a long-term career in logistics
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
