Working in a clean, safe, and modern manufacturing facility, you will be provided with extensive training and support from experienced operators while working with the latest extrusion technology.

A current forklift licence is essential for this role, and previous plastic extrusion experience will be highly regarded.

The company manufactures food-grade packaging film supplied to a range of food production and packaging industries.

Key Duties Include:

• Operating and monitoring plastic extrusion machinery
• Setting up and adjusting production equipment to meet quality specifications
• Conducting quality checks and product inspections throughout the manufacturing process
• Monitoring temperatures, pressures, and machine performance
• Loading raw materials and replenishing production lines
• Recording production data and completing relevant documentation
• Identifying and troubleshooting minor machine faults
• Performing changeovers and assisting with machine setup activities
• Maintaining housekeeping standards and ensuring a clean work environment
• Following food-grade manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures
• Operating forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods
• Packing, wrapping, and preparing finished products for dispatch

To Be Successful You Will Have:

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Plastic extrusion experience highly regarded
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Ability to work rotating shifts following training
• Reliable transport and strong attendance record
