An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts professional to join a well-established international freight forwarding and logistics business based in Chipping Norton.

Working closely with an experienced finance team, this role offers a diverse mix of accounting, administration and operational support responsibilities within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry
• Client invoicing and statement distribution
• Local and international creditor reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly reports including debtors, creditors, margin analysis and profit & loss reporting
• Payroll processing
• Assisting with office administration functions
• Supporting warehouse administration activities as required
• General finance and administrative duties

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience within a freight forwarding environment
• Strong working knowledge of CargoWise
• Experience using Xero accounting software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills
• A proactive and professional approach to work
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Capacity to quickly learn new systems and processes
