Are you studying Kitchen Management, Commercial Cookery, or a related culinary qualification and looking to gain valuable Australian industry experience?
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Kitchen Management Interns to join professional commercial kitchens across Sydney and Melbourne.
This paid internship is designed to provide practical exposure to commercial kitchen operations while developing the leadership, organisational, and technical skills required to succeed in Australia's hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and service.
• Support daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Support food costing and waste minimisation initiatives.
• Learn kitchen workflow and production planning.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with Australian food safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently completed Kitchen Management, Commercial Cookery or a related qualification.
• Passion for culinary arts and hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
• Australian working rights.
