This is an exciting opportunity to gain 12 months of paid Australian industry experience while working on real AI implementation projects for Australian businesses. You’ll collaborate with experienced AI consultants and business leaders to design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions that improve productivity, customer service and business growth. 
Whether your goal is to become an AI Integration Specialist, AI Automation Consultant, AI Solutions Engineer, AI Business Analyst, Prompt Engineer, AI Developer, Automation Specialist, or Digital Transformation Consultant, this internship will provide the practical experience employers are looking for. 

Key Responsibilities 
As an AI & Automation Graduate Intern, you may assist with: 

• Designing and implementing AI-powered business solutions 
• Building AI chatbots and AI voice agents for customer service and sales 
• Developing AI agents to automate repetitive business processes 
• Creating AI-powered knowledge bases using company documentation 
• Integrating AI with CRM, ERP and other business systems 
• Developing workflow automations using tools such as Make, Zapier and n8n 
• Creating prompts and workflows for Large Language Models (LLMs) 
• Assisting with AI-powered content generation and marketing automation 
• Analysing business processes and identifying automation opportunities 
• Developing dashboards and reports using AI and business intelligence tools 
• Supporting software integrations through APIs and cloud platforms 
• Testing, documenting and improving AI solutions 
• Training clients and staff on the effective use of AI technologies

Eligibility 
Applicants should have: 

• A bachelor’s or master's degree (completed or nearing completion) in: 
• Artificial Intelligence 
• Information Technology 
• Computer Science 
• Software Engineering 
• Data Science 
• Business Information Systems 
• Mechatronics 
• Engineering 
• Or a related discipline 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies and automation concepts 
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, APIs or cloud technologies will be advantageous 
• Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms is desirable 
• Experience with automation tools such as Make, Zapier, n8n or Power Automate is advantageous but not essential 
• A passion for learning emerging technologies and solving business challenges 
• Full-time work rights in Australia

Internship Facilitation Fee 

This opportunity is offered through STUDY AND WORK’s Paid Professional Internship Program. 
Upon successfully securing the internship, participants are required to pay an Internship Facilitation Fee equivalent to 10% of the annual salary package. 
To make the program affordable, the fee is payable in monthly instalments of $1,100, commencing after you start your internship. 
The facilitation fee covers: 

• Placement with a suitable host employer 
• Employer engagement and interview coordination 
• Career coaching and interview preparation 
• Resume and interview support 
• Internship administration and onboarding 
• Training plan and program management 
• Ongoing mentoring and support throughout the internship 
• Performance monitoring and employer liaison
