The Role:

This role is responsible for executing OTC & RX sales and marketing strategy for brands through developing relationships and business priorities with key pharmacies and buying groups in their territory.

Ultimately, the Territory Manager is to be recognised as a trusted advisor and partner with the decision-makers in the targeted pharmacies within Brisbane South East & the regional area of Rockhampton 
  
Key Responsibilities 

• This role will focus specifically on building and developing relationships with pharmacy owners/managers, pharmacists, dispensary technicians/managers, store managers, pharmacy assistants, and group managers/procurement.
• Driving new product launches and strategic marketing campaigns to advance and increase substitution, loyalty, and our brand's presence.
• Understanding and analysing pharmacy-driven targets/goals and performance (monthly, quarterly, etc.).
• Interpret and identify rebates attributed to each pharmacy based on performance measures.
• Allocate bonus stock according to performance and contractual arrangements.
• Promoting (selling-in): OTC & RX product portfolio, established (expansion products), and new launches (NPD).
• Demonstrating business acumen, market knowledge, and ability to make tactical decisions and choices to increase sales within the pharmacy through deals and promotions (monthly and seasonal).
• Ensuring the Territory Manager secures commitment to promotional programs/stock drops when promoting key focus-area products.
• Monthly Country Travel is required to ensure coverage of the territory and meeting key business meeting requirements.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Territory Manager within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industries.
• Natural-born communicator and negotiator, with the ability to influence and inspire others
• Commercially driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment 
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong relationships
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively prioritise tasks
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required
