About The Role:
Step into a pivotal role with DBG Health, driving the Demand Process that underpins the success of Arrotex Pharmaceuticals. You'll play a hands-on part in building and maintaining a robust 36-month forecast, sharpening forecast accuracy, and helping ensure products stay on shelves—not in overstocks or out-of-stock situations.
Bringing both operational excellence and strategic thinking, you'll anticipate future demand needs, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and proactively shape solutions before challenges arise.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Produce demand sheets using current forecasts, historical data, secondary sales, and market insights to ensure accurate, trend-aligned projections.
- Validate seasonal patterns, apply incremental assumptions, convert parent-level forecasts to item-level, and update forecasts in the ERP system.
- Work with business units to review, approve, and refine forecast assumptions, ensuring consistency and accuracy across teams.
- Prepare for and support Pre-Demand meetings, consolidate inputs into a unified forecast, and escalate major changes to the Demand Manager.
- Assist in analysing forecast performance, identifying gaps, and spotting opportunities to continually improve accuracy.
- Support automation of demand tools, embody a collaborative and proactive mindset, uphold company values, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to evolving organisational needs.
Skills & Experience: - Min 3+yrs experience in end-to-end demand planning within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or FMCG environments
- Strong knowledge of best-practice processes and systems, experience with Logility highly regarded.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills, strong ability to analyse, interpret, and present data, plus sound business planning skills including financial awareness and trend recognition.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently while identifying opportunities to enhance tools, systems, and processes.
- Skilled in juggling deadlines and conflicting priorities in dynamic environments; able to plan, track, and manage both routine and project work methodically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong stakeholder engagement, ability to work independently or within a team, and confidence influencing and negotiating across levels.
- Dynamic problem-solving approach, mentoring/coaching experience (desirable), and supported by formal capability such as 3+ years in demand planning, APICS certification, or tertiary supply chain/business qualifications.
