A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Consultant or Senior Sustainability Consultant to join a respected engineering and sustainability practice with offices across the UK.

The Role Working within an established national sustainability team, you will support the delivery of sustainable design and best-practice consultancy across a diverse project portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing holistic sustainability strategies for new and existing developments
- Leading the delivery of environmental and wellbeing assessments such as BREEAM, WELL and Home Quality Mark from concept through to post-construction
- Undertaking a range of technical analyses, which may include:
- Embodied and operational carbon assessments
- Whole life carbon modelling
- Circular economy consultancy
- Building performance modelling, including operational energy estimates and overheating assessments
- Supporting clients in shaping energy and sustainability strategies that promote innovation and high environmental performance
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Contributing to internal research, development and Technical Excellence initiatives, with opportunities to lead industry-facing studies and author guidance documents

About You You will bring experience and capability in a selection of the following areas:
- Energy performance modelling
- Whole life carbon assessments (embodied and operational) using platforms such as OneClick
- Net Zero carbon strategies
- Circular economy statements
To succeed in this role, you will also need: - Experience within the built environment sector
- Previous work in a sustainability or engineering consultancy
- A relevant degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline
- Strong communication skills and confidence working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- A genuine passion for sustainability and delivering positive environmental outcomes
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a progressive, industry-leading team
