Senior Quantity Surveyor
North West – Hybrid
£75,000 + car/car allowance + bonus
You will play a key role in supporting construction managers, designers, planners, and operational teams to deliver high-quality projects across electricity distribution, EV infrastructure, and utilities networks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Civils or Utilities infrastructure background and proven NEC contract experience to take the next step in their career while contributing to vital national infrastructure.
Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Provide commercial support to the project delivery team, ensuring robust cost control, cash flow management, and reporting across multiple schemes
- Manage subcontractor contracts, procurement, and compliance with internal processes and NEC contract requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, proactively addressing any escalations or issues
- Support the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, forecasts, and variations
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Health & Safety best practices, and company standards
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including SHEQ, Operations, and Design to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction
Criteria of the Senior Quantity Surveyor: - Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Background in Civils or Utilities infrastructure projects
- Strong commercial awareness and subcontract management experience
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Understanding of CDM regulations and Health & Safety practices
