Are you an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager looking to take the next step in your career?
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Charleroi for a seasoned professional to lead complex, high-value projects within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of project delivery - overseeing mechanical construction works from initial planning through to final commissioning. You’ll review project requirements in depth, schedule deliverables, manage costs and ensure all onsite and offsite activities meet the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
Working closely with engineers, supervisors and technical specialists, you’ll play a key part in delivering innovative, cutting-edge solutions.
What You’ll Do: - Drive project planning, scheduling and progress reporting, including 12-week look-ahead schedules and identification of roadblocks.
- Conduct regular safety and quality walks, following up with supervisors to ensure prompt closure of actions.
- Lead commissioning activities, ensuring timely completion and effective resolution of any issues.
- Manage and support teams of supervisors and craft personnel to achieve productivity and programme targets.
What You’ll Bring: - 10+ years’ experience in construction management or senior supervision, including significant pharmaceutical project exposure.
- Proven track record managing teams of up to 10 supervisors and 100 craft personnel.
- Strong technical expertise in piping installation, welding, testing, supporting, sloping and handover processes.
- Excellent understanding of quality requirements and construction health and safety practices, including RAMS and SPA procedures.
- Confident with Navisworks, isometric drawings and workpack monitoring.
- Commercial awareness and strong schedule management skills.
- A third-level qualification in construction or mechanical engineering is highly advantageous.
