Design Manager - Frankfurt

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team in Germany, specialising in Data Centre projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead design coordination on high-profile projects while working alongside a collaborative and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the setting out of projects, coordinating architectural and engineering information with the site team.
• Coordinate utilities and services between mechanical and electrical engineers and utility providers.
• Prepare and maintain the schedule of information requirements, ensuring timely submission to architects and engineers and monitor progress against the contract programme.
• Oversee the technical submittal process for all project components, maintaining a system to track submissions in line with the programme.
• Maintain a procurement tracking schedule based on approved technical submittals, including cost approvals where relevant.
• Respond promptly to queries during the contract, ensuring they are properly recorded and managed.

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience as a Design Manager on Data Centre projects.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering or Architecture.
• Previous experience with a main contractor is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
