About the Role
Working alongside the Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day leadership of our vibrant OSHC service. From supporting educators and helping deliver engaging programs to building strong relationships with children and families, you’ll help create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and connected.
This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for children every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Coordinator with the daily operations of the service
- Help lead, mentor, and support a team of educators
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based programs
- Assist with rostering, documentation, and administrative tasks
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children and families
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider school community
- Support compliance with National Quality Framework standards and service policies
- Step into the Responsible Person role when required
About You
- Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Current Blue Card
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Completed Child Protection Training (GECKO)
- Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and relevant legislation
- Experience using childcare management software (Xplor experience highly regarded)
- Strong organisational, communication, and emerging leadership skills
