Client Support Technician
Location: Central Brisbane CBD
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs/week
Agency: Archdiocesan Services - Technology Solutions
Office-based position - Participation in paid on-call roster.

About the Role
The Client Support Technician plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day technology needs across a diverse network of agencies and services. Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the role is responsible for resolving technical issues escalated from the Service Desk, ensuring device compliance and security, and contributing to IT projects and system improvements.
Working closely with internal teams, the Client Support Technician also provides mentoring to junior analysts, helping to maintain a high standard of customer-focused service delivery. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting a large network of community-based sites, within a purpose-driven IT team serving one of Queensland’s largest and most community-focused organisations.
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues.
- Maintain and support client systems across approx. 250+ sites.
- Ensure devices are patched, secured, and compliant.
- Participate in projects, hardware deployments, and on-site support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery.
- Create and update knowledgebase documentation.
- Mentor and guide Service Desk Analysts.
What You'll Bring - Minimum 2 years' experience in a client support or service desk role
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address improvement opportunities
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networks, M365, Azure, Active Directory and GPO management.
- Strong MS Windows SOE experience using Intune including packaging and powershell scripting
- Ability to take initiative and drive continuous improvement outcomes
- Experience with enterprise environments and service level targets.
- Solid documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and Servicedesk platforms
- Willingness to travel to sites and assist with hands-on support.
