About the role As our Senior Fundraising Specialist – Individual Giving, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and growing MSWA’s Individual Giving program, encompassing Appeals and Regular Giving.
This is a hands‑on, end‑to‑end role that blends strategic thinking with practical execution. You’ll design and deliver insight‑driven fundraising campaigns, build compelling supporter journeys, and create powerful cases for support that demonstrate the breadth and impact of MSWA’s work.
Your work will directly generate unrestricted income, helping MSWA continue delivering allied health services, accommodation, service centres and world‑class neurological research across Western Australia.
What you’ll be doing - Design and deliver high‑impact direct mail and digital fundraising campaigns, including appeals and regular giving, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget execution
- Use data‑driven segmentation and targeting to strengthen Individual Giving performance, with a strong focus on growing Regular Giving
- Project manage campaigns end‑to‑end, including stakeholder briefings, data selection, copy development, production, fulfilment and post‑campaign analysis
- Analyse campaign performance and report against budgets, turning insights into smarter future appeals and annual plans
- Deliver engaging supporter journeys and coordinate donor acknowledgement and recognition to drive strong retention
- Maintain accurate supporter records, directly engage donors where required, and collaborate across teams to achieve PP&E and organisational goals
What you’ll bring Essential - Relevant qualification and/or 3+ years’ experience in fundraising, or an equivalent combination
- Proven experience in individual giving, including donor cultivation and stewardship
- Demonstrated success managing end‑to‑end direct marketing fundraising campaigns
- Strong analytical capability, using data and appeal tactics to maximise revenue outcomes
- Experience with donor database management, including data selection and segmentation
- A track record of achieving donor acquisition, retention and budget targets
- Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to build trusted relationships
