About the role
As the new Marketing Officer in our lotteries team, you’ll play a key role in bringing our campaigns to life. From supporting the planning and execution of our marketing and digital campaigns, to updating the MSWA website, assisting in the development of prize packages, and helping get our prizes out the door, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of activities that make a meaningful difference.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on some our biggest campaigns like the Mega Home Lottery, as well as some of our smaller campaigns, all of which reach thousands of Western Australians and contribute to research for individuals living with neurological conditions.
You’ll be working closely with a supportive team and a Senior Marketing Officer who’ll provide mentorship and help you grow your skills and career. What you’ll be doing
- Support the delivery of marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, web, print, and more
- Execute and manage digital campaigns with guidance from your Senior
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure requirements are met and timelines are on track
- Help build and refine prize packages, and support lottery draws and winner delivery
- Source quotes, manage procurement, and help keep the operational side of campaigns running smoothly
- Contribute to the creative process — we want your ideas, not just your output
Must-haves - Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or related field
- Some experience in marketing — whether a previous role, placement, internship, or agency-side work
- Solid communication skills and the ability to write well
- Comfortable with digital tools such as CMS, email, social media, Microsoft Office
- A positive attitude, genuine curiosity, and willingness to get stuck in
- NDIS Clearance and Workers Orientation Module Certificate
Nice-to-haves - Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar platforms
- Experience in lotteries, fundraising, real estate, or not-for-profit
- Agency-side experience
