About the Role As a Care Support Worker in our Residential Services, you’ll support clients living in units to lead safe, supporting clients to be as independent as possible and fulfilling lives. Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll provide consistent, person-centred care in a 24/7 environment, helping customers achieve their goals in a home-like setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing/showering, feeding, dressing, grooming, bowel and catheter care, and manual handling
Assist with daily living tasks such as cleaning, assist with meals and household routines
Support customers to build life skills and independence
Facilitate community access and social participation
Medication assistance, domestic assistance and documentation
Implement individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
Accurately document care and report any changes in customer wellbeing
Complete all mandatory training annually
Must-haves
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
Experience in disability, aged care, or residential support
Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends, night shifts, and public holidays
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain)
