About the Role As a Care Support Worker, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred support to clients living in the community. Working within individual care plans, you’ll help people maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing while supporting them to live life without limits.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll work collaboratively with clients, families and the wider MSWA team to deliver safe, flexible and meaningful support.
What You’ll Be Doing - Providing personal care to support clients’ health, comfort and wellbeing
- Assisting with medication administration and monitoring
- Supporting clients with meal preparation and essential daily living tasks
- Facilitating social access, community participation and leisure activities
- Assisting with transport to appointments and community activities where required
- Observing, reporting and documenting changes in clients’ wellbeing
- Building positive, respectful relationships with clients, families and colleagues
Must-haves - Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (including practical component)
- Ability to communicate sensitively and respectfully with people living with disability and their families
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow care plans and directions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work within 7:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday
