Remedial Construction Technician

$100K - $160K + Super
 
Our client is a leading company within the construction industry that specialises in delivering structural remediation, foundation repairs and restoring ground stabilisation. Our client is seeking an experienced Remedial Construction Technician to join their team as you'll play an important role in restoring structural integrity to buildings and concrete assets on both residential and commercial projects.
 
About the Role:
This position is a field-based position suited to someone who enjoys practical work, solving technical challenges and achieving high-quality outcomes on site. You will be starting your day at the Kewdale depot, where you will head out in the Company Ute with a small team of 2-3 experienced technicians and trade assistants.
 
What will this position entail?

• Performing ground improvement and concrete lifting works, such as polyurethane resin injection and slab-lifting works.
• Restoring damaged, settled or uneven driveways, pathways, garage floors and building foundations.
• Installing, operating and maintaining pumps, hoses, mixing equipment and injection systems.
• Drilling access points and monitoring lifting progress using precision levelling equipment and measuring tools to ensure accurate results.
• Completing job records, site documentation and photographic reports.
• Maintaining safe work practices and ensuring equipment and work areas remain clean and organised.

How can I be successful?
To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated experience in foundation repair, structural remediation, or a related area of the construction industry.
This role also requires the following:

• Previous experience using polyurethane resin injection, concrete lifting, slab jacking, slab re-levelling, grout injection and ground stabilisation.
• Confidence using power tools and site equipment.
• Experience using laser levels, measuring equipment or surveying tools
• Construction White Card
• An Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Full Australian Working Rights
