An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of a major project due to commence next month. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, managing contractual risk and ensuring the successful financial delivery of a high-profile infrastructure project.

About the Role
Working closely with the Project Director and senior project leadership team, you will take ownership of all commercial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring strong financial performance, effective contract administration and proactive commercial risk management.
 
Leading a Senior Contracts Administrator, you'll work closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to ensure commercial strategies align with project delivery objectives while maintaining compliance with Victorian legislation and industry standards.
 
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Commercial Manager role within civil, or major infrastructure construction
• Strong knowledge of Victorian construction legislation and contract administration
• Demonstrated success managing commercial outcomes on major infrastructure projects
• Excellent understanding of project budgeting, forecasting and cost control
• Proven experience negotiating complex contracts and managing commercial risk
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support project teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of commercial acumen, analytical ability and attention to detail
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office and commercial cost control systems
