Construction Maintenance Road Workers 
$33/hr + Super
Casual position
Monday to Friday, 6.30 AM - 4 PM with overtime on weekends and on call on occasion (Penalties apply)
 
Pearl Recruitment have an opportunity for x5 Construction Maintenance Road works to join their clients team based in Geraldton starting in February 2026.  
 
Main Responsibilities:

• Undertake road construction, reconstruction and maintenance works
• Assist with culvert, headwall, signage and safety barrier installation and repairs
• Operate minor plant, tools and equipment
• Perform vegetation management, litter collection, graffiti removal and general cleaning duties
• Read and follow basic technical documentation and work instructions
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Identify and report safety hazards and assist in implementing risk controls
• Assist with traffic management setup and removal in accordance with approved TMPs
• Provide onsite assistance during incidents as required
• Support training in road construction, maintenance and safe work practices
• Complete electronic timesheets and required documentation
• Capture and record site issues and risks in MMIS as directed

 
To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Experience in basic road construction and maintenance or related construction/maintenance work
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical specifications, plans, and drawings
• Basic survey, setting out, and measurement skills
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork skills and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of traffic management for roadworks
• Current Western Australian driver's licence: 'C' or 'C-A' class (min 2 years)
• Police Clearance Required within 12 months.
