Our client is a leading Australian provider of heat transfer and thermal solutions, specialising in the design, manufacture, servicing, and refurbishment of industrial heat exchangers. They support a wide range of industries including mining, oil & gas, and heavy industry.  They are currently seeking 3 x Trade Assistant / Labourers to join their workshop located in Beckenham commencing on 7 April 2026!
  
The Role:
This position will see you supporting the Technicians on site carrying out pressure cleaning, assisting with maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of various heat exchanger units.
  
Details:

• Monday to Friday | Rotating shift pattern, days & afternoons.
• Days | 6am – 2pm | $33 p/hr
• Afternoons | 2pm – 10pm | $37.95 p/hr
• Workshop-based role
• Opportunity to upskill within a specialised industry
• Ongoing position with a view potential for permanency after 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high pressure water cleaning, of heat exchange plates. (approx. 50% of the role)
• Utilising hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assisting trades & technicians with disassembly and refurbishing tasks
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Adhere to all company and site safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous workshop, mechanical or factory experience
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol screen
• Full Australian working rights (Sorry no holiday visa's)
