Project Manager - Communications Infrastructure (Mining & Industrial Projects)

Our client is a leading provider of communications and technology solutions, delivering connectivity and infrastructure projects across mining, resources, and government sectors.  With a strong national presence and ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of complex, high-value communications infrastructure projects. 

This is a hands-on role, ideally office-based in Brisbane, with occasional site travel requirements, supporting both project delivery and in-house design/fabrication teams.  You will be responsible for managing projects from planning to completion, including site-based builds, contractor coordination, and client engagement. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of communications infrastructure projects, including comms shelters, tower construction, related civil works, and network installations
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and contractors across multiple sites
• Coordinate stakeholders including clients, internal teams, and subcontractors
• Ensure site compliance, HSE requirements, and medical clearances are met prior to site access 
• Oversee quality control, documentation, and governance to ensure projects meet client standards
• Support the in-house design and fabrication team, walking through plans and resolving delivery issues
• Monitor projects progress, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure on-time delivery

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering communications infrastructure projects, preferably in mining or industrial environments
• Experience with comms shelters, towers, or network installations is highly desirable
• Comfortable managing small teams and contractors independently
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks
• Able to work on-site as required and liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Formal qualifications in Project Management or a related field (highly desirable)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, project scheduling tools, and reporting systems
