Location: Maddington
Rate: $45.00 p/h + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 4:30 pm
Employment Type: Temp to Perm opportunity

Our client is a well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in Maddington. They are seeking a reliable Powder Coater to join their team. 

About the Role:
This hands-on production role focuses on quality and finish, applying powder coating to a variety of steel and aluminium fencing panels, gates, and hardware. Ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing metal surfaces for coating (cleaning and pre-treating)
• Operating powder coating equipment, booths, and curing ovens
• Applying powder to fencing components, gates, and hardware
• Conducting quality checks to ensure finish consistency and adhesion
• Colour matching, masking, and handling custom colour requests
• Following WHS procedures and safe chemical handling
• Keeping the work area clean and organised

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in powder coating (trade/industry preferred)
• Understanding of surface preparation and oven curing processes
• Strong attention to quality and finish
• Ability to work efficiently to meet daily production targets
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
