Our client in the heavy industry sector is seeking a capable Finance Manager to step in on a full-time, short-term basis and provide stability, leadership, and strong financial oversight during a period of transition. Due to the temporary nature of the role, it will be office based, with no work from home allowances.

Location: Kwinana
Start: ASAP
Duration: 2 months (possibility of extension)
Rate: $80 - $90 per hour + Super (based on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday: 40 hours per week
  
What You’ll Be Doing
This position will see you responsible for; but not limited to:

• Overseeing day-to-day financial operations and month-end processes
• Managing and reporting on OPEX and CAPEX, including tracking, variance analysis, approvals, and forecasting
• Ensuring all financial obligations are being met
• Reporting on estimated and actuals
• Providing accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership
• Partnering with operational teams to support cost control and financial performance
• Managing contractual and staff compliance

  
To Be Successful:
To be successful in this position, you will possess:

• Relevant graduate degree
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager within manufacturing, maintenance or heavy construction / industrial preferred
• Strong technical accounting skills and sound commercial judgement
• Good problem solver, and able to simplify complex accounting
• Confident communicator who can build rapport across operational and site teams
• Available to commence immediately or on short notice
