Pearl Recruitment is seeking multiple Trade Assistants for two well-established clients operating across specialised manufacturing, industrial, and mining equipment sectors in WA. These roles offer excellent long-term prospects, consistent hours, and competitive rates. Candidates with strong workshop experience, mechanical aptitude and valid HRWL licences are encouraged to apply.
  
Fabrication Trade Assistant – Redcliffe Location

• $35.00/hr + super + penalties
• Monday to Friday | 10–12 hr shifts | occasional Saturdays available
• 3-month temp-to-perm opportunity | Immediate start

Key Duties:

• Assist senior technicians with workshop repairs and maintenance
• Operate forklift to move equipment and materials
• Pick, organise, and pack parts and structural steel
• Load/unload trucks
• Support fabricators with general duties (cutting beams, drilling, prepping steel)
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop
• General yard and forklift duties

  

Mechanical Trade Assistant - Malaga Location

• $35.00hr + super + $15hr weekend work uplift
• Monday to Friday | 10-hour days | occasional Saturdays available
• Temp & ongoing roles available | Immediate start

Key Duties

• Assembly and repair of mining fixed-plant equipment
• Use of hand and power tools for mechanical and assembly tasks
• General labouring duties
• Occasional forklift or rigging work (depending on licence held)

Requirements for both positions:
Valid forklift licence, strong hand and power tool skills, prior mechanical workshop or fabrication experience, a current driver’s licence with reliable transport, full working rights, and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment. Rigging licence is advantageous but not essential.
