Business Analyst
Location: Perth CBD, WA
Rate: $53–$60 per hour
Employment Type: Contract

Pearl Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading advanced manufacturing and engineering organisation, renowned for delivering complex, high-value projects across Australia and internationally. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team and drive digital initiatives that support the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  
About the Role:
This role will work at the intersection of business and technology. You will analyse current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business requirements into actionable insights that drive effective solutions and better outcomes.
  
What You’ll Do:

• Align digital initiatives with organisational strategy and ensure they deliver measurable value.
• Elicit, validate, and manage clear business and functional requirements.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to enable collaboration and effective communication.
• Leverage data and insights to guide decision-making, evaluate solution performance, and improve business outcomes.

  
What We’re Looking For:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or on IT/technology projects.
• Basic to intermediate experience in eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements (user stories, use cases, process maps).
• Familiarity with SQL, cloud platforms, and data visualisation tools.
• Some knowledge of data science or AI workflows is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help improve processes and outcomes.
• Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
