Product Development Assistant
Burswood Location
$70,000 - $80,000 + Super (Pending Experience)
Permanent, Full-Time Role with Extensive Growth Opportunities 
 
Our client is a growing WA owned retailer with a strong presence in the outdoor and mechanical industry, mainly supplying equipment used in cars, caravans & 4WD's. As a result of ongoing growth, they are looking to expand into all states across Australia, requiring them to add a Product Development Assistant to  their team.
 
What will this position entail?
This role will see you providing strong support to the Procurement team, responsible for the below duties:

• Prepare and format product documentation, including test sheets, specification files, and certification records.
• Manage central product and procurement folders, keeping timelines, samples, and related data up to date.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain samples, information, and delivery updates while supporting ongoing relationship management and basic negotiations.
• Oversee stock planning and forecasting to maintain appropriate inventory levels and support ordering decisions.
• Handle the full product ordering workflow, ensuring all required documents, approvals, and information are completed accurately.
• Perform data entry and generate reports where possible to maintain accurate product details, pricing, specifications, selling history and SKU information.
