The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Christchurch-based client in a full-time, permanent position based in their central office.

• Work across both commercial and residential builds
• Run your own projects independently
• Support and mentor junior QS team members
• Collaborate closely with construction, design, and client teams
• Contribute to successful project outcomes and organisational growth

• Full end-to-end QS functions
• Preparation and submission of tender bids
• Contract administration across the full project lifecycle
• Accurate financial reporting for internal and client purposes
• Strong relationship-building with clients and internal teams

Quantity Surveyor Requirements

• 5+ years QS experience with proven track record
• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Knowledge of NZ3910, NZ3915, and Masterbuild contracts
• Strong construction knowledge + experience in estimating and tendering
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
