Job Description
We are working with a well-established construction contractor delivering a strong pipeline of commercial projects across Queenstown and Central Otago.
Due to continued growth and upcoming work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through to delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality commercial builds while joining a supportive and experienced team with a reputation for delivering well-managed projects.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of project planning, coordination and delivery. You will work closely with site teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on programme and within budget.
You will play a key role in guiding project outcomes, supporting the site team and maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage commercial construction projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and consultants
• Monitor programme, budgets and construction progress
• Maintain strong health and safety and quality standards
• Manage project reporting, procurement and subcontractor engagement
• Identify and resolve project risks while keeping delivery on track
About You
• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects
• Strong leadership and project coordination skills
• Ability to manage budgets, programme and subcontractors effectively
• Solid knowledge of NZ construction processes and contracts
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
