This Senior Civil Engineer – Project Lead role involves leading the design, planning, and delivery of a wide range of civil engineering and land development projects. You will also support the Civil Manager with overall project delivery and be responsible for managing and mentoring a small team. 
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys balancing technical excellence, project leadership, and people management. 
What you’ll bring 

• 6+ years’ experience in civil engineering NZ based, including significant project management responsibilities 
• People leadership or mentoring experience 
• A relevant tertiary qualification – Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent demonstrated competency and experience) CPEng is Ideal 
• Strong experience liaising and negotiating with clients, with a proven ability to achieve outcomes aligned with business objectives 
• A solid understanding of New Zealand design standards and council approval processes
