Maintenance Mechanic II
Location: Council Bluffs, IA
Pay: $28-$34/Hour
Shift: 3rd - Sun-Thurs 10:30pm-7:00am

Overview

We’re hiring a Maintenance Mechanic II to support our manufacturing and packaging operations. The Maintenance Mechanic II will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and low-voltage electrical work
• Complete setups, adjustments, and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose issues with pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, and sensors
• Read and interpret schematics and technical instructions
• Support equipment installations and improvement projects
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Basic electrical experience (photo-eyes, sensors, 3-phase, etc.)
• Ability to lift 65 lbs. and work at heights
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Preferred: Technical school training, PLC/HMI exposure, experience with packaging equipment.
