First National Bank of Omaha is looking to fill a Sr. Software Engineer position in Omaha, NE (May telecommute from home residence anywhere in the United States). Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in computer science or a related field and 5 years’ progressively responsible experience as a software developer, engineer, or related occupation. Experience must include the following specific skills and experience:

• 5 years’ hands-on development experience building Mobile Applications
• 5 years’ experience with Kotlin
• 3 years’ experience with RxJava, RxKotlin, or Reactive Programming
• 3 years’ experience interacting/integrating with REST APIs
• 3 years’ experience with Dagger
• 2 years’ experience with Firebase
• Experience with software design principles, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration and Delivery Practices
• Experience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab
• Experience working within an Agile Development Methodology
• Ability to write quality unit, functional and automated tests
• Availability to participate in the team on-call rotation

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for Mobile Development supporting Android and iOS applications and collaborating with the Delivery team to ensure the solutions developed will deliver value and improve the quality of the software. This includes partnering with the Principal Architect, Lead Developer, Product Owner, and team members to define and deliver solutions. The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for providing software solutions to complex business problems and attending and participating in all Scrum ceremonies.
  
Use kotlin to develop clean and effective mobile applications.  Develop, maintain and modify user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React).  Complete work independently and as a part of an Agile team to meet development schedules.  Modify existing programs, prepare test data, participate in story refinement and grooming.  Solve complex problems through innovative and creative solutions.  Work with development teams and product owners to ideate software solutions.  Serve as a technical mentor for peers, guiding developers to apply software patterns and principles.  Identify technology needs and work with Leadership to prioritize those needs with other business objectives.  Ensure delivery on technology value in addition to business value.  Troubleshoot and debug software.  Participate in the team on-call rotation.

RATE OF PAY:  $143,976 to $148, 215
