JMS Staffing has partnered with a nationally recognized builder of high-quality homes and components, in search of a Production Foreman to join their growing team!
This is a full-time, onsite, direct-hire position in Dorchester, Wisconsin
Salary based on experience: $75-$85k total compensation
As a Foreman, you'll lead a team of line assemblers in your assigned area. You'll balance hands-on production work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring your team meets quality and safety standards while hitting production goals. You'll be the go-to person for training, coaching, and supporting your team—while also rolling up your sleeves to complete work alongside them. This role requires both technical expertise in at least one trade and the leadership skills to bring out the best in others.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and coach a team of line assemblers to achieve production and quality targets.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies.
Follow detailed work orders and assembly instructions to build high-quality components.
Assist less experienced employees with training and skill development.
Coordinate daily tasks, schedules, and resolve conflicts, escalating issues as necessary.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Contribute directly to production activities in your area of expertise.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1-2 years of experience in one or more skilled trades (construction, welding, electrical, drywall, painting, forklift operation, stocking, etc.).
Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate, train, and support a team.
Physically capable of lifting 40+ lbs and performing demanding tasks (standing, kneeling, climbing, overhead work).
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Preferred:
Mastery or advanced expertise in one of the production trades.
Prior experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
