The successful employee in this role will be responsible for assisting in all phases of HVAC engineering design and construction administration services, including:

• Drafting of HVAC systems using AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Production of construction documents, including plans, details, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• HVAC load calculations and building performance analysis.
• Research on Codes and standards.
• Selection of HVAC equipment and design of complete HVAC systems.
• Coordination with other engineering disciplines and architectural trades.
• Participation in design discussions and meetings.
• Documentation and analysis of existing building systems.
• Review of contractor RFI's, equipment submittals, and on-site construction inspection visits.

Required Skills: 

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant HVAC design experience in commercial, educational, healthcare, housing, and municipal projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. EIT and LEED accreditation are a plus.
