We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team!
About JMS
JMS is doing great work, and we're ready to tell the world about it! We're entering an exciting new chapter. We're launching a new name, a refreshed brand, and an updated website, and we are looking for the right person who can help us share that story. We're looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Intern who wants real hands-on experience. You'll work directly with our team on projects that help build our brand, support sales, and showcase the work we're doing with clients. This isn't a "watch and learn" internship. You'll actually be helping us create and publish content that people see.
What You'll Work On
Brand Launch
- Help introduce our new name, logo, and website to the market
- Support the creation of content and announcements around the launch
- Help ensure our new brand is used consistently across everything we publish
LinkedIn & Social Media - Help manage and grow JMS's LinkedIn presence
- Share updates about our team, our work, and company milestones
- Post photos, behind-the-scenes moments, and client success stories
- Build and maintain a simple content calendar so we stay consistent
Client Testimonials & Case Studies - Collect feedback from clients and turn it into shareable testimonials
- Help write short case studies that highlight the impact of our work
Email Marketing - Work with the sales team on email campaigns for clients and prospects
- Help draft email content and track campaign performance
- Assist with follow-up and nurture campaigns
Marketing Materials - Help design marketing materials we can share with clients
- Assist in building a capabilities deck that explains what JMS does
- Update materials as our brand continues to evolve
Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is curious, creative, and eager to jump in. You don't need a ton of experience—what matters most is being organized, comfortable writing, and excited to see your work out in the world.
- Currently studying or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Understand LinkedIn and social media, and what makes content engaging
- Comfortable writing for different audiences
- Have used—or are interested in learning—tools like Canva, Adobe, Mailchimp, iContact, or similar platforms
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects
- Based in Buffalo, NY, and able to work onsite
Compensation & Details - Pay: $20/hour
- Hours: 20 hours per week
- Location: Onsite: Buffalo, NY
- Start Date: ASAP
