We’re partnering with a well-established New Zealand food manufacturing business seeking a capable and grounded Quality Specialist to strengthen their quality function across a multi-site operation.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working across three Auckland-based manufacturing sites.  The business operates within a structured quality environment aligned to BRC standards and is regularly audited by major retail customers including Woolworths and Costco. As such, you’ll need to be confident assisting with external audits and representing the business professionally and calmly under pressure.

What you will do:

• Manage and support BRC-aligned QMS across multiple manufacturing sites
• Lead and support external audits with major retail customers and certifiers
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real time
• Drive practical compliance while balancing commercial production needs
• Support continuous improvement across manufacturing, blending, and dry goods sites

What we are looking for:

• Experience in food manufacturing quality roles within a regulated environment
• Strong understanding of BRC or similar quality management systems
• Proven ability to manage audits and interact with external auditors
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence operators
• Practical mindset with the ability to work in the “grey area” of production
• Confidence working across multiple sites and shifting priorities
