Our well-established client with sites around New Zealand is currently seeking a Forklift operator to assist in their busy distribution warehouse based in Hamilton.  Our client is involved in the steal industry, supplying valves, couplings and fittings into a range of industrial and construction sectors.

This role requires the candidate to assist with all warehouse operations, specifically picking and packing orders of small to large components and preparing for distribution. 

The role includes:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Inventory, stock takes and cycle counts.
• Inwards Goods receipting
• Preparing goods for dispatch
• Picking packing and labelling freight

The idea candidate will have previous experience working in a warehousing environment, ideally in a industrial environment. Also required:

• Forklift experience, OHS certificate and a class one drivers license.
• Capable of repetitively lifting weights up to 25kgs.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Able to complete a criminal history check

There is plenty of room to grow with this expanding company which offers hours from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 17.00pm.
