This is a key leadership role within a structured, high-volume environment where systems, data, and continuous improvement are already well embedded.
The opportunity here is to step into a business that is performing well but is now looking for the right leader to elevate team capability, strengthen culture, and continue driving operational excellence.
This is not a firefighting role. It’s about building capability, leading from the floor, and creating a high-performing, engaged team.
What you will do - Lead daily production performance across output, quality, waste and efficiency
- Be a visible, hands-on leader on the production floor
- Coach and develop 7 Team Leaders and a wider team of 50+ staff
- Drive a strong Lean and Continuous Improvement culture (monthly CI activity)
- Utilise ERP and BI systems to support data-driven decision making
- Oversee training systems, capability frameworks and competency development
- Identify and implement process and equipment improvements
- Support planning and supply chain as a 2IC when required
What we are looking for - Proven experience as a Production Manager in a food or FMCG environment
- A genuine people leader—someone who builds trust, accountability and engagement
- Experience leading through structure, not chaos
- Confidence working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams
- Strong understanding of Lean / Continuous Improvement principles
- Solid knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, FCP, allergens)
What’s in it for you - Step into a well-structured, high-performing manufacturing environment
- Lead a large, established team with strong internal support functions
- Work in a business where BI and systems genuinely drive decisions
- Opportunity to make a visible impact on culture, capability and performance
- Clear succession pathway as part of a broader leadership structure
This role has been carefully briefed following a thorough search process. What’s become clear is the need for someone who brings both technical capability
and the leadership style to truly connect with the team.
If you’re a Production Manager who enjoys being on the floor, developing people, and working within a structured, systems-driven environment—this could be a strong next step.
