Are you a Facilities Manager, seeking your next contract in the Plymouth area?
My client has an immediate opportunity to join their Commercial Health & Safety division on an initial interim basis.
The successful applicant will focus on 3 key projects, working in a multi-faceted FM environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current HQ EPC, energy efficiency data and associated complex ‘expert’ reports and conflicting recommendations to determine how to meet EPC target (B) for 2030, whilst achieving other building efficiencies in parallel planning.
• Develop specification for works required to deliver EPC targets (building upgrades including M & E) including other building efficiencies identified in parallel planning.
• Review AMP (HQ) and develop specification (tender and procure) to manage and deliver component building upgrades and improvements profiled in AMP.
• Develop specification for internal cleaning contract (HQ) and market test service and evaluate in house and external provision and recommend model to deliver VFM and quality.

Requirements:

• Applied knowledge of M&E plant and equipment typically found in large scale office, commercial and other non-domestic buildings including HVAC, electrical installations and plumbing.
• Applied knowledge of the building construction and the built environment.
• Applied knowledge of the principles of financial management and control.
• Applied knowledge of the principles of contract management and control.
• Applied knowledge of procurement practice.
• Applied detailed knowledge of Health & Safety legislation with regard to facilities management. 

Qualifications

• Degree level in a FM, Surveying, Construction, M & E or similar relevant qualification or educated through experience.
