Support Worker
  
LOCATION:                Andover
  
SALARY:                    £13.12 + Holiday pay or £14.70 Inclusive
                                     + £70 per sleep in
DURATION:                Temp to perm
Hours:                        37.5 hour per week or 22.5 hours per week
                                   (alternating week rota; Mon-Fri or Weds-Sun) (1 sleep in per week)

Additional information:
We are looking for a temporary Support Worker to join our team on a temp to perm basis, working with young people who are at risk of homeless or are facing homelessness.

As a Support Worker, you will be working closely with other agencies around specific needs including mental health, substance misuse, benefits, private letting agents and landlords and/or others and exploring options around education, training and employment.  You will need to write, review and update support plans and risk assessments and take a positive approach towards risk management.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to make a positive contribution to the lives of the people we support and a “can do” approach to their work.

• Experience of supporting a wide range of people from varying backgrounds with varying support needs.
• Motivated towards encouraging and supporting young people to become more independent.
• Experience of managing a caseload
• Experience of support planning
• Experience of risk and needs assessing
• Ability to lone work safety and work effectively as part of a team.

Essential:

• Must hold a current driving licence and have access to a reliable car.
